Where are Those Brine Trucks Going on Rt 62? ...and Where are They Coming From?

Just an observation today. For the last few weeks on my morning commute I've noticed tanker trucks marked 'Brine' and 'Residual Waste' heading east on Rt. 62 out of Hubbard toward Pennsylvania. These are red trucks with white lettering. I lose them where Chestnut Ridge Rd. intersects Rt.62.

I know that fracking brine cannot be disposed of in Pennsylvania so I wonder if these are empty trucks returning to PA wells once they've dropped their loads somewhere in Ohio. If so, I wonder which disposal well they using in Ohio. The only one we have locally is closed down after causing earthquakes last year.

I hope we don't see any accidents in this area. After all, Little Yankee Run Creek runs very close to the Rt. 62 / I-80 interchange.

We wouldn't have to worry about this poison being hauled on our roads if we weren't a dumping ground for PA's hazardous waste.
