Vote For Issues 2,3 & 4

Issues 2,3 & 4 deserve your support on election day. All three issues will help Ohio citizens vote more easily and limit the influence of big money in state politics.

Issue 2 would allow anyone to vote by absentee ballot for any reason. This should reduce waiting times at polls. In the general election of 2004 some Ohioans stood in line for more than four hours to vote. This amendment would make voter participation easier. Safeguards should be easy to build in to protect against voter fraud.

Issue 3 will limit the amount of money going into politicians pockets and hopefully reduce the influence big donors have over state politicians. If this had been law four years ago, the administration in Columbus may not have decided to invest Bureau of Workers Compensation funds in Tom Noe's coin collection.

Issue 4 puts an independent commission in charge of drawing legsilative districts. This is important to keep politicians from gerrymandering districts to keep themselves in office.

Reform Ohio Now has been leading the fight on this and could probably use your support. You know the lobbyists are going to hate all of these amendments and work hard to keep them from passing.

By the way, if you know people who aren't voting, tell them to put the TV remote down and get off the couch. This state has a Governor convicted of a crime running it and helped put Bush in the White House. How much apathy can you have?
